Who We Are

Meet Noreen

Noreen Leadbetter

Registered Nurse, Master of Nursing CEO & Director of Staffing

I recognize the challenges and constraints faced by Ontario healthcare organizations, clinical professionals, administrators and CEOs.

As a 16-year nursing professional holding positions such as Patient Flow Manager, Staffing Office Manager, and Faculty of Nursing Professor with William Osler Health System, Humber River Hospital and Seneca College, I have first-hand experiences and insights.

We understand your staffing and continuous training needs and have the expertise and connections to qualified Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses & Personal Support Workers.

How We Help

Attention to detail and personal service is part of the nursing profession.

We embody this philosophy, which is why hospitals, long-term care, and the Ontario Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority refer our healthcare solutions to their members.

At the onset of COVID-19, when patient care was exclusively virtual, we placed six NPs and ten RNs on-site to assess and assist critical patients.
With the increased demand for patient room and office sanitization, we placed upwards of fifteen housekeeping staff.
Because healthcare workers are mandated to be fully vaccinated, a LTC facility struggled to source compliant staff. We filled their immediate needs in housekeeping, dietary aid and cook.

We’re here to help you find the right people – the right position – and maintain high standards in patient care.

Client Testimonials

See what our successful clients have to say about our SC Learning's Staffing & Education.

Watford Quality Care engaged the services of SC LEARNING to assist in recruitment of Nursing staff including a Nurse Practitioner. Watford Quality Care Centre is a 63 bed fully Accredited, Long Term Care Home located in rural Ontario…and has been approved to increase to 96 beds under the Ontario Capital Redevelopment Program.

The process of assessing our Home's needs and identifying the culture of the home was the first step towards successful placement of agency staff. The close communication both through the recruitment process and following placement is a priority with SC LEARNING. Any issues have been addressed quickly and to everyone's satisfaction.

Watford QCC looks forward to an ongoing working relationship with Noreen and her team.

I fell short when I took my NCLEX exam for the first time. I was devastated and embarrassed. I’m thankful I found Noreen’s help when I did.

I connected with her over the phone, and she put my mind at ease and calmed my nerves by giving me a plan. She highlighted areas for me to review and helped me understand the material before memorizing it with thoughtful patience.

We covered not only content but relaxation techniques to use in times of stress. I was able to analyze the practice questions and draw on my education and nursing experience to enhance my studying and ultimately build my confidence back up!

If you feel a little lost when it comes to the NCLEX exam, Noreen will shine a light and help you realize you got this!

It is my pleasure to get a chance to know Professor Leadbetter when I studied at Seneca College. Noreen has the heart and passion to help IEN to get a better chance to practice nursing in Canada. Her course will help the newcomers to learn the medical system in Canada and be prepared to successfully passing the nursing exams. The knowledge and hands-on skills are what you can learn from her. I highly recommended attending her course when you have the opportunity to write your exam.

Ms Noreen is a perfect example of the new model teachers. Basically, she is student-oriented. In the classroom, she employs the Eclectic mode of teaching (this is the combination of all the modes of teaching “discussion mode, play way mode, role play mode, question mode” so as to facilitate standard learning). She is compassionate, passionate, and friendly. From my interactions with her, I can confidently say that she is one of the best teachers around.
